Waiting room chains

At my appointment today, the CD player was playing Carole King’s “Chains” song. I didn’t know who it was, I just looked it up. I’d never heard the song before, but I got an odd feeling if I was in a bad relationship this song was a subliminal messages to do something… Except I was the only one there. Hopefully the message will float around, hit repeat and move someone someday to walk away.

“Chains, my baby’s got me locked up in chains
And they ain’t the kind that you can see
Whoa, it’s chains of love got a hold on me, yeah

Chains, well, I can’t break away from these chains
Can’t run around
‘Cause I’m not free
Whoa, these chains of love won’t let me be, yeah

Now believe me when I tell you
I think you’re fine
I’d like to hold you
But I can’t break away from all of these chains”

Maybe it’s Linda’s way of sending subliminal messages to clients like me. TOTALLY makes sense. She doesn’t give you the “answers” but she plants them in your brain with Carole King songs. C-L-E-V-E-R move, Linda. ;o)
Isn’t her receptionist just the sweetest woman ever?!

    1. Carole King must be the secret….
yes, sweet lady. Her waiting room could use a little spruce, though.
