Clothes pins cling to the line reminding me the birds have gone. Red berries drip like poison against the sky. A black man in a white suit repaints a building white, covering the bricks, the chips. Leaves play tag around my wheels. The shadow of a flag blends into me until I’m gone. So many images to catch. So many. I have to save them all so why is my coat unzipped? My head is too young to tell the stories I need to. I’m still playing in the sandbox, keep digging. I swear there was something else. i swear.
