Camino de Santiago

Camino de Santiago
I’m doing this someday. Not for religious reasons. For spiritual, yes, for the journey, yes. I’m doing it, I’m doing it, I’m doing it.

  1. Have you ever read that book by Paulo Coehlo about the Camino de Santiago? I read it in Spanish when I was living in southern Spain, and kept swearing I’d do the trail. When time came to travel, I only had two weeks, so I cheated and went directly to Santiago de Compostela. A beautiful, charming little town, but I knew that my understanding of it would have been quite different after trekking thousands of miles…

    Go for it!

    1. I haven’t read that book yet. I’ll check it out. Thanks!!!
It just sounds so incredible. A lot like my river trip – minus the river part – but getting up every day to get to another place. It’s sort of basic life. Every day is there to get to the next. It’s hard to remember that in daily life nowadays.
      Someday!!
