This little girl came to visit the news studio this afternoon and the rumors of a tiger running around the building definitely got my attention. I waited a half hour, dammit, but I saw her and TOUCHED her! Oh my god, she was beautiful and she gurgled and growled and had so much energy and the PAWS, holy shit, her paws. She’s only 10 months old and a real tiger, they said, some other tigers are calm at that age and she never quit – jumping on furniture and wrapping ankles and nipping her trainers fingers. She has her whole life to figure the world out, the trainer said. I touched her back and she ran by me. She wasn’t soft like a kitten, no she had thick, wiry hair like armor, barbs, arrows; hair not built for this life.
